CCNS’s Awards Gala is a celebration of the contact center industry in Nova Scotia with a specific focus on agents and companies that deserve the highest accolades as determined by their peers and community.
This year’s gala will be held on June 8, 2016 in Halifax at the Westin Hotel Award winners will be recognized as the “Best of the Best” within their company and the industry. There are nine categories of awards for which member companies can nominate their employees or teams.
Pricing – Tables of eight are $1000 while a second table is $900 and individual tickets are $125.00 each.

Community Spirit Award
The Community Spirit award recognizes outstanding voluntary contributions made by an individual or team to the citizens/communities of Nova Scotia. The award recipient is selected for demonstrating tremendous spirit and enriching both their workplace and their community.
Employee of the Year Award
The Employee of the Year award recognizes an employee from each centre who has a demonstrated a positive contribution to customer service, their workplace environment, performance management, and the community.
Leader of the Year Award
The Leader of the Year award recognizes a management team member who has demonstrated leadership, innovation, has had a positive impact on the workplace environment and has impacted performance management. This award recognizes Supervisors, Team Managers, Project Managers, Operations Managers or Admin staff that make a difference.
The Innovation Award recognizes an associate/ team that has used new technology, processes and/or organizational changes in order to improve their customer and/or employee experience.
S.T.A.R. Award (Staff That Are Remarkable)
The S.T.A.R. Award recognizes a person who exemplifies a positive outlook and attitude. Characteristics include: inspiring, optimistic, encouraging, the cheerleader, fun, selfless, the person others turn to for help, reliable, the team player with the “CAN DO” spirit.
M.V.P. Award (Most Valuable Partner)
The M.V.P. Award recognizes a support group or individual (non front line associates) in your organization who has made a substantial contribution to your business and /or your employees. The unsung heroes who work behind the scene to support your teams.(Examples: HR, IT/Telecom, Quality Assurance, Work Force Planning, etc)
